What Is My Why? – TURNING PEACE INTO STRENGTH
I chose family law because I believe that even in the most difficult times, there is an opportunity for strength and hope. I’ve seen what it feels like to be caught in a storm of uncertainty, and I know how important it is to have someone steadying the ship. My passion is guiding clients through painful transitions with empathy, clarity, and fierce advocacy so they can step into the next chapter of life with dignity and confidence.
From my very first experience in the Duquesne Family Law Clinic, I realized how deeply impactful a compassionate attorney can be for someone facing life-altering decisions. I knew this was more than a career path for me; it was a calling to help people through some of their hardest moments.
After law school, I spent the first 3 and a half years of my career with Laurel Legal Services and Neighborhood Legal Services, representing individuals who couldn’t afford private counsel. Many of my clients were survivors of domestic violence, navigating the PFA and custody process while rebuilding their lives. I worked in courtrooms across Allegheny, Westmoreland, Armstrong, Cambria, and Indiana Counties, fighting for people who needed a strong advocate by their side.
Those years shaped the attorney I am today — one who listens deeply, advocates fearlessly, and never loses sight of the fact that behind every legal matter is a human being experiencing one of the toughest challenges of their life.
When I transitioned into private practice, I continued my work in custody and PFA cases while also immersing myself in complex divorce and support matters. Over time, I have sharpened my litigation skills in nearly every type of family law case, and my mission remains the same: to stand with my clients, empower them with knowledge, and guide them through the process with compassion and determination.
Education & Training
I earned my Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law, where I worked in the Family Law Clinic and clerked for the Honorable Judge Daniel Regan in the Family Division. These early experiences gave me invaluable insight into the court system and the difference a prepared, passionate advocate can make.
I was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2020 and began my career in legal aid, representing clients across multiple counties in Western Pennsylvania.
Today, in private practice, I focus on complex divorces, support cases, custody disputes, and PFA litigation, bringing both compassion and a strong courtroom presence to every case.
I’m admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. I am an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, including the Family Law Section, Young Lawyers Division, and Women in the Law Division.
Before law school, I graduated from Seton Hill University, where I was a proud member of the women’s lacrosse team.
